*松井稼頭央ギャラリーは今までに取り扱ったもの、あるいは取り扱い中のものを集めたものです。
松井稼頭央選手の元祖ともいえるルーキーカードです。フロリダの新聞社がスプリングトレーニング中にだしたもので、大リーグ公認カード発行会社（Upper Deck,Donruss,Fleerなど・・・）に先立って発行したものです。ですので実質初のルーキーカードといってもいいものです。


Fleer社の特別企画で作られ、シェイスタジアムかニューヨーク限定メッツ直営店でしか手に入らなかったルーキーカード。

<2004 Fleer/Skybox Authographics Prospect　#71> Kaz Matsui-SS Height: 5'9" Weight: 180 Throws: Right Born: 10/23/75, Osaka, Japan Acquired: Free Agent, 2003 Kaz Matsui signed a three-year contract with the New York Mets on Dec. 10, 2003. He was handed his new Mets jersey by New York mayor Michael Bloomberg and said, in English, "I love New York."

このシリーズの100枚限定(Flair Collection Row 1)と799枚限定のパラレルルーキーカード。このほかになんと驚くことに1/1(Flair Clollection Row 2)と書かれた限定数たった1枚のマスターピースカードが存在します！

<2004 Fleer/Flair Class of '04 #61> Kaz Matsui 25/New York Mets Born: 10/23/75, Osaka, Japan Ht: 5'10" Wt: 183 Bats: Both Throws: Right "Kazmania" has hit New York City with the arrival of Japanese import Kaz Matsui. At an autograph session on 42nd Street in Manhattan in late January 2004, the shortstop had hundreds of fans line up and wait two hours for his signature despite sub-freezing temperatures.

Fleer社から発行された50枚限定シングルカードでなんとこれはシリアル番号がラストの50番・・・おそらく松井稼頭央選手のカードの中では1,2を争う入手困難なアイテムでしょう。下のイメージは799枚限定のパラレルカード。

初打席、初ホームランという鮮烈なデビューをした松井選手のカット前（9枚組みのまま裁断されていないもの）、シート仕様カード。ニューヨーク地区限定で4月19日にNew York Postと一緒（インサートとして）に販売されました。買占めに走るファンが多数出たという情報も・・・実際アメリカのオークションサイト、ebayでは驚くことに20枚いっぺんに出品した人もいたくらいです。

6月3日にシェイスタジアムで行われたFloridaマーリンズ戦で25000人のファンに配られた球状配布(Give away)カード。2004 Commemorative Baseball Card Packとして松井選手に加えて、Mike Piazza選手、Jose Reyes選手、Mike Cameron選手、Cliff Floyd選手、Al Leiter選手のカード等7枚セットで配られました。

<2004 Fleer New York Mets Baseball 4 of 7> "Kazmania" was already rampant in the Big Apple going into the 2004 season. That was before Kaz Matsui became just the 20th player in Major League history to launch a home run on the first pitch of his first big league at-bat, part of a 3-for-3 evening on April 6th.

Etopps（Topps社）から発行された5000枚限定の松井稼頭央選手カード（上）と2570枚限定のNew York Metsチームカード（下）。表面はToppsお馴染みのリフレクト加工がされています。またEtoppsのEはE-mailのEと同じで、通常カードはオンライン(米Ebay）で取引されます。手元に欲しいカードはリクエストすれば工場でアクリルケースにつめられ、ホログラムシールで封印され、一つ一つのカードに独自のシリアル番号（裏面右下のホログラムシール）をつけられ出荷されます。
